We collect an email address if you request the free chapter on this page — we store it ourselves, to send you that chapter. We don't send a newsletter.
Payment and shipping address are collected and processed by Whop, our payment provider. Your shipping address is also shared with our fulfillment partner so they can ship your book.
We use a Whop tracking pixel on this page to measure the results of our ads.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API: we use these to measure which ads led to a visit, an added-to-cart or a purchase, so we know which ads to keep running. The pixel runs in your browser; the Conversions API sends the same kind of event from our server, matched to the browser event (never with your name, address or card details). If you arrived from a Meta ad, we also record the ad's own tracking parameters (fbp/fbc), the campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_ parameters) and a random visit code with your order, purely to credit the right ad; the visit code contains nothing about you. To refuse this: block third-party cookies and trackers in your browser, or use an ad blocker — the page still works fully without it. You can also opt out of Meta's ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Microsoft Clarity: we use this to see, in aggregate, how visitors scroll and click on this page (heatmaps and anonymized session recordings), so we can fix what's confusing. It sets its own cookies and does not knowingly collect anything you type into a payment field, which stays inside Whop's own checkout, not ours. To refuse this: block third-party cookies in your browser, or use an ad blocker.
Google Analytics: we use this to count visits and see, in aggregate, which pages and links people use and how far they get in ordering (viewing the book, adding it to the cart, opening the checkout, requesting the free chapter, completing an order). To credit a completed order to the visit it came from, we store Google Analytics' random visitor and visit IDs with your order, and our server sends Google Analytics the order's amount and edition, never your name, email, address or card details. It sets its own cookies; Google Signals (ad personalization) is turned off. To refuse this: block third-party cookies in your browser, use an ad blocker, or install Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
